Product Description

Debutir Max, sodium butyrate 500 mg, capsules – food for special medical purposes, dietary food for special medical purposes, containing sodium butyrate for use in adults and children over 7 years of age under medical supervision.

Ingredients

microencapsulated sodium butyrate (sodium butyrate, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids); capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; rice flour; corn dextrins.

For adults and children over 7 years of age for dietary management of the following conditions:

• irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), abdominal pain and bloating, constipation

• acute diarrhea of various origins

• non-specific inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease)

• diverticular disease

• enteritis after chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy

• conditions after surgical operations in the gastrointestinal tract

• intestinal microflora disorders (e.g. after antibiotics, SIBO)

• nutritional deficiencies (low-fiber, low-residue diet)

How to use:

Adults: Take 1 to 2 capsules orally daily. If taking 2 capsules daily, take one in the morning and one in the evening; if taking one capsule, take it preferably in the evening. Recommended duration of use: at least 3 months.

Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule daily, preferably in the evening. Recommended duration of use: minimum 6 weeks.

Admission rules: The capsule should be swallowed whole with water (do not chew it). It is recommended to take it with a meal, with ½ glass of lukewarm or cool water.

If you have difficulty swallowing, the contents of the capsule can be poured out and consumed directly with water or mixed with a thick food (e.g., plain yogurt, fruit puree). Do not chew or crush the microgranules.

Note: In individual cases, your doctor may recommend a different dosage.

Contraindications and precautions

This product should only be used under medical supervision. This product is nutritionally incomplete and should not be used as a sole source of nutrition. Intended for adults and children over 7 years of age. Do not consume unless you have a specific disease, health disorder, or other condition that is relevant to its use. This product is not intended for parenteral use. Caution is advised in individuals with swallowing disorders or difficulty taking capsules. If you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, discontinue use. Store in a dry, sun-dried place, at a temperature of 0–25°C, in a closed container, out of reach of children.
